Rust Recoil Script Guide — AK, LR-300, MP5 Spray Control

Rust guns follow fixed spray patterns, which is exactly why a recoil script works so well there. Here is what it does for each weapon and attachment.

Fixed spray patterns

Every automatic Rust weapon follows a set pattern: the AK-47 pulls up and then sways left and right, the LR-300 is tighter, the MP5 and Thompson are easier but still climb. A Rust recoil script follows that pattern bullet by bullet in reverse.

Attachments matter

Holosights, 8x and 16x scopes change how far the pattern moves on screen. Muzzle brakes, boosts and silencers change the recoil itself. Pick the attachments you are running so the script matches.

Sensitivity and FOV

The script needs your in-game sensitivity and field of view to know how far to move the mouse. Set those to match your game settings before tuning strength.

Recoil script plus AI aim

A recoil script keeps your spray on the spot you aimed at. Rust AI Aim adds AI target tracking, for when getting on target is the hard part.
